Great Toy Train Layouts of America Part 2, features two layouts, each with their own charm: Chuck Brasher's prewar standard gauge layout, and Stan Roy's O gauge layout.
Layouts Featured[]
Chuck Brasher, Grass Valley, California: Standard gauge. Built in a room designed for his trains, Brasher operates locomotives from the Classic Period of Standard gauge (1925-1935). He also highlights specific models and has a wide variety of trains from the three iconic standard gauge manufacturers: Lionel, American Flyer, and Ives.
Stan Roy, Glenview, Illinois: O gauge. Roy is able to simultaneously operate over 32 trains on 3 different levels. His collection includes both postwar and MPC era locomotives, each with their own values. Roy also explains how he's able to run all these trains and shows some of his accessories.
It is unknown who is narrating on the Chuck Brasher segment. Stan Roy segment narrated by Jeffery Smith.

- The video was named by People Magazine as one of the Ten Top Videos of the year in 1989.
- Both layouts are featured in the book Great Toy Train Layouts of America, which came before.
- Both layouts were later used as footage on the I Love Toy Trains series.
- Outtakes from both layouts were included on Oh No! and Lionel: the Movie I Special Edition. This includes Brasher's ending dialogue outtakes.
